Nice and easy walking along the walkway to enjoy scenes of Gorges and lakes and breath fresh air of Bamboo forest. A short boat ride with Chinese song background made me feel like I was in the Chinese drama series. Nice place to go.

About 4-hours outside Chongqing. Beautiful rock cliffs. Water running through. It is crowded (as is everything) but well worth the trip. It was great to get out of the city and see some of China's natural beauty

Saw this on Trip Advisor and had a Sunday with nothing to do. I as well as my two Colleagues were blown away. I've been traveling to China and this was hands down one of the coolest things I've done there. I went in February and there was practically no one, I hear it's really busy during the summer. You... We really wanted to experience beautiful nature when being in the region, and going to the canyon turned out to be perfect. The difficulties in using internet made car rental difficult - probably worth doing that before coming to China - so we ended up using the hotels car service. Probably quite overpriced for a full day at 1600 yuan,... More

The best one day tour while in Chongqing is to the Jindaoxia (Jindao Canyon Scenic Area) which is approximately 81 km or 2 hours travel time from the Holiday Inn Chongqing North. Most information on China Travel websites is sketchy when it comes to organising a day’s outing to Jindaoxia; for those willing to put in the effort it’s well... More

Beautiful! Most go if living or traveling through Chongqing. It is pretty harsh drive going up the mountain with drivers racing around the sharp curves. But it's worth it. Takes several hours to do the main hike/ walk though. Try and stay at a local family hotel.

We heard the locals singing to each other - they were on a different sides of the river so it was their way of communicating to each other. It made it a very pleasant experience indeed.
