Our visit to the People's Square,and Museum was a great way to finish off our 8 day tour of China.The action in the square was a fascinating insight into Chinese culture,as is the Museum.Well worth a few hours there.
Large square directly between the Three Gorges Museum and the Great Hall of the People, with street vendors selling all kinds of junk to tourists. It's wide open, and provides a nice view of the Great Hall of the People.

The day we went it was hot but there was very little shade or activity. There were a few food and souvenir kiosks. We didn't see any public restrooms on the square itself, but the Three Gorges Museum was free and right on the square,...More
