With every Chinese university campus I grow in curiosity, why do they need so many lakes. Those here are spectacular. The architecture of the campus is nice to, and there is museum inside

Beijing caught me by surprise, there's so many places crowed. If you need a place to enjoy, be peaceful and to be in touch with real Chinese citizen you should come to the university. Totally worth it, priceless.

Global Village Hotel is right across the street from the academic side of the campus--office buildings, library, etc. It is technically affiliated with the university, but is open to all visitors. Decent place to stay.
