Several venues offer "al fresco" tables to enjoy drinks or food. You can spend easily 3-6 hours in this place, the offer us big. Recommended for tourist and residents. You can find... More

Stumbled across this area last night and really enjoyed our walk around the shores, peeking in at the dozens of bars with live music and finding a good place to eat. If you can ignore the workers in front of every establishment as they try to pull you into their particular place, its a great nighttime stroll as you find... More

We got out of the subway station and across the street was this place. We were looking for something else but figured we would stop by. We stayed all day. The place was beautiful, located near water, and seemed like a very popular (local) tourist area. There are plenty of restaurants and small shops, bars, cafes, etc. There is also... More

This is great place to go in the evening, as it has its own atmosphere, it has lots of tourists, but still most people there were young Chinese.

My son and I rode our bikes round this neighborhood on a beautiful afternoon. There were loads of Chinese were also enjoying the area along with a handful of foreigners like us. It was not so full though that it distracted from our enjoyment. Most bars were not open but plenty of quaint shops were. The ride along the river... More

We visited this area with our tour group and took rickshaw rides along the nearby lakes early in the morning. I understand this area has quite the nightlife, however, there that is not the atmosphere all the time. I almost wish we had walked instead of taking the rickshaws as it would have been beautiful to spent an hour or... More

Lotus Lane is one of the main attraction for tourists (mainly chinese) in Beijing. A large number of restaurants and bars are located along the lake. But be careful: Some of the restaurants offer food of mediocre quality, the service is sometimes very slow and the invoices not correct.

Fun area full of small shops and restaurants surrounding a beautiful lake. Full of color, people, food, and great atmosphere. We visited at night which was beautiful with the colorful lights and lanterns reflecting on the water. It was very busy and fun. A lot of small restaurants to choose from and many shops to find pretty much any souveigneer... More

This lake is surrounded by bars and restaurants, most bars have their own live music in the evening, their is one place where two lakes are connected and you can pass this by a small bridge, near this bridge there are many bars with a roof seating, in the summer this is a great place to overview the people in...
