Probably one of the more magnificent and majestic building in the Forbidden Palace. Great ancient Chinese architecture. Saw this in many Chinese films about ancient China and its emperors and warlords.

This is one of the main buildings in the Forbidden City. It definitely has some beautiful Chinese architecture and detail. You cannot go inside but only take it in from the outside. I enjoyed the audio guide while touring the museum. All the buildings start to look similar after a while… But this one is definitely worth admiring for a while.

It is located in the center of the Forbidden City, along its central axis. It is the largest and grandest hall in the Forbidden City. Golden dragon designs dominate the hall's exterior and interior. The interior hall is not open to the public, but can only be seen from the hall entrance. As such, be prepared to jostle your way to the front to have a look at its interior, take some photos before getting out of the crowd.
