With the suggestion from ChinaSeeing tour, we climbed the little hill inside the Jingshan park, where at the top of hill we got perfect bird view of the forbidden City. thanks to ChinaSeeing.

A nice peaceful park to visit, small amusement park for the kids, paddle boats...relaxing place to spend a bit of quiet time. Near restaurants

Great park with a lot of fresh, ideal also on a hot day. It has supreme views from the Forbidden City.

The hill at Jingshan Park has a great view of the Forbidden City, and also of Beijing's pollution! The hill is steep but only takes a few minutes to walk up. It is really worthwhile as you can see how vast the Forbidden City is.

There is a lot of climbing to get it the top just to get a bird's eye view of the Forbidden City. One of the emperor hung himself in this park.

Jingshan Park should be your LAST place to visit on a trip to Beijing. Stood at the top of the hill, looking down on the city of Beijing you can very succinctly book-end your trip.

Hi Daisy, there are bicycle rental companies, like Bike Beijing and the others, but Beijing does not allow riding in the parks. If you want to ride a comfortable tour around town and learn what's going on: check in on WanLin... More
