A really great experience to discover Saudi Arabia with YPT. The trip fulfilled my expectations and even more. To walk around the city of Medina and see the pilgrims from every corner of the world was my highlight. But everything was so exciting. To hear stories about the past, present and hopes for the future was very interesting and I learned a lot. Also the Saudi food is very tasty and cheap.
YPT is also a great company. Good communication from start to end. And a perfect tour leader, who ensured we had a great trip together with the other participants. I for sure will return back on a YPT trip again.

Amazing 8 day adventure with YPT to the beautiful Saudi Arabia. This is my 2nd YPT tour and will definitely not be my last. YPT are the experts of taking you to the unseen & less travelled parts of the world. Big thank you to the gorgeous French gentleman Morgan who ran the show & lead the tour: what a man. His calm nature, go with the flow type attitude, professionalism & humor made the trip what it was. Give the man a raise 😜
Big thanks to Morgan and another big thanks to YPT…. You’ve nailed it again.

I have just returned from Saudi Arabia tour with YPT. Great itinerary, good hotels, nice group and amazing guides. I am lucky to have booked another trip with them. Next month, Africa!

I joined YPT’s Algerian tour last month. This was my third time with YPT and won’t be the last. Before the tour, all emails were always promptly answered, and all necessary information was provided. The tour itself was once again flawlessly organized from beginning to end. While being just a weeklong, the itinerary covered the most interesting sites of Algeria and gave quite a good introduction into Algerian culture. The food was excellent and accommodations were mostly very good.
Our tour leader/guide Paris was once again phenomenal. Besides being professional, kind, and fun, Paris's passion for her work is evident in her attentive care of each group member's needs and interests. She is always willing to go the extra mile and does everything to ensure that all part of our trip is fun and without trouble.
Omar, the manager of the local travel agency, was welcoming and took perfect care of all the logistics. His professionalism and warm hospitality also contributed to the success of this tour.
A heartfelt thank you to Paris and Omar! I can definitely recommend YPT!

I signed up the a one month tour to the Least Visited Countries and I had no idea what to expect with this tour company. WOW! What a fantastic trip! I could not have navigated all these destinations on my own plus it was so much fun with a group of like-minded individuals. Yes there were some glitches in the trip due to airline cancellations but in this area of the world that is to be expected. Gas and Justin were quick to solve the issue and provided even more unexpected fun! Yes the accommodations in some areas were rather rustic but that was all there was in the least visited countries in the world. We also had some luxury accommodations for a few nights and that was a super bonus. Our guides, Gas and Justin were super knowledgeable, great problem solvers and whole lot of fun! I highly recommend this tour company but remember this is not luxury tourism but rewarding adventure travel with endless amounts of fun!

For those hard-to-reach destinations with hard-to-get visas, YPT does a great job. My YPT tours to Iraq, Turkmenistan, and Algeria were great value thanks to our super guide, Paris, who wears several hats including chief negotiator, visa savant, administrator extraordinaire, and chairwoman of the all-important fun committee. Trying to please everyone in a group ranging from twenty-year-old newbies to seventy-year-old geezers is an impossible task, but Paris regularly pulls it off. Domo arigato Paris-san!

My first ever tour with YPT, this will NOT be the last. The trip was a nice mix of sightseeing (cultural and historical sights, mostly) and relaxation, the latter including snorkelling with both jellyfish and dolphins.
It must have been an absolute logistical nightmare for them to organise (not just the flights between all of these countries but also the road and boat trips when we got to them) but it worked pretty well, The tour leaders Gareth and Justin are fun to be with, whilst at the same time working behind the scenes to deal with all of the complications that a trip to this part of the world always seems to involve.

YPT went above and beyond, as usual. My New Years trip to Turkmenistan was well organized, interesting, exciting, and overall, a great way to spend the holiday. I'm very glad to have been a part of it!

Our YPT guide running the trip, Paris Hailwood, was/is a marvel, as always. Quick with an answer to every question or concern, always ready with a solution, and 100% guaranteed to have a story that captures everyone's attention in any dull moment... be them few and far between.

Similarly spectacular was our local guide; Max. Quite the character, he commands a formidable knowledge of his country's history and was always there when needed, and gone when not. He kept our group on track from arrival to departure, and I couldn't have asked for a better Turkmen to show me Turkminsitan.

Our group was overall an excellent bunch – a good mix of nationalities, ages, and genders. Many extremely well-traveled, along with a handful on their way to the same. As with any group trip, there were a few group members who detracted from the mood, but they were certainly not the majority.

Overall, an excellent trip, led by excellent guides (Paris & Max), and organized by an excellent tour company which I'd recommend highly to anyone interested in a little bit of adventure!

My name is Xavi, from Spain, I have just come back from the tour of Least Visited countries of the world with Young Pioneer Tours and I have had a wonderful experience because after 40 years traveling, finally I have been able to visit all the countries in the world, the 195 and it has been thanks to YPT.
Before starting the trip, 5 countries left: Micronesia, Marshall Islands, Kiribati, Nauru (The least visited country in the world) and Tuvalu (the last one done, on december 30).
The tour has been really great, very well organized and I really want to say thanks to Justin and Gareth, they have been very helpful all the time and without them, I couldn't have made this dream come true.
I am so grateful with Gareth, that allow me to do just the 5 countries left that I needed.
Apart the price of the trip was very competitive, comparing with other travel agencies or traveling on your own.
I don't have any doubt, that if I had to travel again I would choose YPT again.
Thanks so much Justin, Gareth and all the team of YPT for having one of my happiest day of all my life when I stepped on Tuvalu. Those memories will be unforgettable!

Somehow, I managed to visit 175+ countries without ever going on an organized tour. However, each time I tried to self-organize this trip to the Pacific Island nations, my mind melted with the logistic, the flights etc.!!! When a friend told me about Young Pioneers and their claim to be 'Tours for those that don't like tours', I was skeptical. But, really felt that this was my only option to visit the region.

Well....I never imagined that I would have my expectations met and exceeded so much!

First of all, the Pacific Ocean (Least Visited Countries tour). Is an area where things/flights are expected to go wrong; and they did. However, Gareth and Justin addressed these issues as quick as they came up, taking the stress away and let the guests enjoy.

The tour itself was a balance between fun and knowledge; history and beach with full itineraries and also rest. I learned so much. But chilled and had fun with beach days and nights out.

The added bonus was all the information that I gathered from the tour leaders AND other guests for future travel destinations. So much was learned about the obscure locations that I have been researching.

Bottom Line....I can't wait for my next trip with Young Pioneers and I felt that I've met friends that I know that I'll travel with again in the future.

Thanks Gareth, Thanks Justin!
