Amazing place!, is totally recommended for visit but best season is in Spring as in Summer is too warm and Winter is too cold. The visit includes also the entrance for a huge Park and also the area of rituals. The transport to reach the place is very easy with tram or you can stop close to this and walk... More

Impressive spot to visit in Beijing. A place where Chinese Emperor prayed four times a Year. Also, all surrounding buildings are interesting for visiting.

Lovely walk through gardens where Tai Chai, martial arts and 'music' being performed. The temples beautifully maintained and the whole place gave a feeling of calm. Once again one can only peer into the buildings rather than enter. One holds a beautiful replica of the main temple sliced in half to show its magnificent structure. Worth a visit definitely and... Before you visit this place, decide on the tickets. We took the full, and did not begin to save. Wanted to see everything. The structures are really beautiful.

Beautiful place, lots too see and super peaceful park where you might come across locals singing and exercising. It has a large park and long walk ways so prepare yourself for a long walk. Evenings before the sundown is the best time to visit

I visited the Temple of Heaven whilst on a business trip with a colleague. We went at 9am midweek and it was not too busy. There are multilingual cashiers at the entrance of the site who will sell you tickets for far cheaper than any local hotels or tour services will. You can also hire an automated tour guide handset... A must visit list. To see the most Sacred Temple in Beijing. But it is just a short trip, need another plan to continue the trip. A lot of attraction nearby

My guide took me to the Temple of Heaven as our first stop in the morning (about 10 am). I enjoyed walking through the exercise area. My guide explained that older people in Beijing come to the park every morning to socialize and exercise. There are permanent outdoor "gym" items - something like a gazelle, a back massager, parallel bars,... More
