We hiked this portion of The Great Wall with our guide, Dewit. Dewit was knowledgeable and encouraging, which was especially nice due to the challenging route. This portion of the wall is not very long (1000 meters), but it is steep and only two small...More

This was my second time to the Great Wall, last year I had visited the touristy Mutianyu section, so this time around I looked for a more secluded and Varied Scenery to go to. During my online searches I stumbled on the name of the...More

We ventured this through Xian and very nicely maintained. Entire group enjoyed the trip. The elderly enjoyed the sight from the starting point. The steps are steep (some places more than 18 inches).A must visit place.

As a couple of English-only speaking Gen X'ers from upstate New York in the US, my wife and I recently had an opportunity to visit the Great Wall. We were extremely fortunate that our daughter-in-law had done a thorough job in evaluating tour guide options...More

We were lucky enough to stumble upon Storm accidentally and as it turns out he actually made our holiday. The tour to a secluded part of the wall was as non-touristy as it gets. We were the only ones on the wall in that area....More

Agree with the last few reviews, this is only 15 minutes from Mutianyu, yet so quiet. Some very steep climbs but worth it for spectacular views of the wall snaking across a range of hills. 32rmb to get into the Xiangshui Hu Great Wall park....More
