All around the summer palace you will see beautiful bridges. Some bigger than the other, the double bridge, the dragon bridge and so on. This is the biggest and it is certainly an eye catcher. beautifully decorated with tiny dragon statues.

We didn’t go on the bridge, just took a dragon boat close to it and took some beautiful pictures of it. It’s quite striking, and filled with tourists, kites, etc... A very nice photo op.

Can't complain! Part of Summer Palace complex, this bridge is a living relic of Imperial China. Not the biggest attraction but worth to walk (at least). Recommended for some shots, but don't waste too much time. The view from the Buddhist Incense Tower is really...More

Was a but unimpressed wit this bridge. It is nice but not impressive. It gets you to a small island where you can take the boat the the boat house (north west of the palace).

The magic number nine pervades Chinese dynasties and counting from the end to the middle there are nine arches. Simples. Part of the great Summer Palace experience this can be views from the long corridor.
