The building itself is fabulous but probably similar to so many other buildings in Beijing. What really impressed me were the amazing bronze statues scattered about in front of the hall. As part of the Summer Palace it is definitely worth visiting,

When visiting the temples and palaces in Beijing, this has to be on your list. It is takes you back to the time when the emperors built these places as a route to heaven. Just beautiful.
