To build this city with modern day equipment would be a monumental task. To learn that it was all done by manual labor is almost unbelievable. The attention to detail is mind boggling.

Tower of Buddhist Incense(Summer Palace) - wow, very serene place for an evening walk along the banks. Loved it.

This is only for fit people who can walk and climb. We had to walk a lot to reach here and but the view was stunning. Try to reach as early in the morning as possible. It was fabulous place.

its a little confusing to find the actual tower itself as there were many buildings near to one another. but all of them were great and the tower covered with buddhas was really lovely. its crowded in that area so be prepared.

I did not know anything about this place before I went to summer palace. The hike to the top was little difficult but manageble.

Pretty easy hike . Provides great views of the lake and surrounding area. Steps up but easy to do. Costs extra but it's included in the complete ticket.

This tower is in highest point of Summer Palace so it needs a lot of energy to conquers all the stairs. However once in surface, the view just paid off because the lake view is just in front of you with other places in Summer...More
