Such an interesting area to explore! The area has a completely different feel to the rest of Beijing with many old factory buildings converted into walkways, art murals and galleries. There are also lots of nice restaurants and cafes dotted around the district. I would highly recommend spending a few hours waling around and enjoying the unusual and exciting art work.…

This is a must-visit for art lovers -- even the casual ones like me. Simply walking around the district is a wonderful experience. There are many tiny interesting idie shops around as well for clothes, art, knick knacks, music, instruments, etc. I really enjoyed shopping in this cozy district. There are also many cafes and small restaurants that are homey and unique. Of course, the main attraction is the art that's found just anywhere -- on the streets, random walls, and shops. Definitely visit this place when you go to Beijing.…

Art galleries are scattered around the place. It has a rustic feel to it because of old factory buildings. Walking around can get a bit uncomfortable under the sun, if weather is nice then its ok. If one is not into art then the place does'nt have much else to offer.
