It becomes landmark of Beijing after Olympic Games 2008. Tourists pay a visit here mostly only want to get some photos expecially when the stadium is lit up. I believe that there's not many people willing to buy the tickets to go inside the stadium. Most people are just interested of its architecture. Water cube is opposite it. From here, you can see it lighting up in different colours. While waiting for it to light up ( if u come earlier), you may walk around the park ( about 4km) or take a shuttle to go around. Shuttle charged 20rmb per person, no limit of time. For me, it's nothing much special.…

If you are in Beijing and love Olympic history as well as stadiums, this is a must visit. If you are only in the area, just make sure to go to the Olympic park and visit the area. But if you can buy a ticket make sure to visit the famous Nest and take a tour of this historic Olympic Stadium which would be the only Olympic stadium to host both the summer and winter Olympics. You would be able to see the VIP areas as well as the Dignitaries box. There is also memorabilia from the 2008 Olympics. However you will also see that this stadium is rarely used. …

We happened to be on the 8 line so we stopped by the Olympic Park from the 2008 Games and had a fabulous walk along and through the park. We were able to see where he torch was lit, the water cube and the birds nest as well as many other buildings with incredible architecture. This is a must do for a chilled out walk through a chaotic city.…
