Wow, didn't think in my biggest dreams that i'd ever walk the Great Wall of China. At that section of the wall you will visit the less-touristed and more original Juyong Pass, avoiding other sections that are overly crowded. That part of the wall we walked is...More

Seeing the Great Wall for the first time takes your breath away, it is just incredible. Very steep and uneven steps so going up can be a challenge. You just need to go at your own pace and do what you can do. It was...More

Our tour group visited Juyong Pass and were amazed at the Great Wall. It’s hard to fully comprehend the size of it until you are there. There is no flat section of wall like I had envisaged so it is quite a steep and uneven...More

A very steep walk, but if your fitness is there, than Juyong pass is the place to be. Not too busy and you can always walk along less steep parts. This really is awe inspiring and one location you won't regret doing.

The Great Wall is a must do activity if visiting China. This section is apparently less crowded than Badaling section but was still quite busy. Since it crosses a road you can go in two directions. If you have the time and energy you can...More

Have visited the wall in another area before, and was still stunned at the beauty and the history of this great attraction. Be prepared for many many stairs, and they are not all the same size! Also some areas without handrails, si take care!

Our group tour took us to this location rather than Badaling noting that it is less crowded (and a little closer to Beijing). It was amazing! The walk to the right is less challenging, but still very tough to climb. We certainly had a work...More

Juyong Pass was enjoyable. You have choices which way to go. Because the wall surrounds an ancient trading post located in a gully, the pathways are very steep. However, you can walk around the lake area and not have to climb. I had previously been...More

Been to Badaling once and Jurong Pass three times. I found the Jurong Pass part of the wall much easier, quieter and nicer. You can easily walk up to the beginning of the climb and then decide how far you want to go or not... More

It depends on the time of day you visit. We were on a tour and we got up at 4 in the morning to visit the wall. We were there early and it was rather relaxing visit, we then had a coffee at the bottom at about 11 o-clock. As... More
