Other reviews have detailed the benefits, calibre and authenticity of the Freeman's camp, many paying particular attention to the quality of hospitality, food, and knowledge of the driver/guides and you can read about these here on TripAdvisor. I particularly find Freeman Safaris excellent value for money. Once you have booked your Safari via their website, then you have absolutely no... More

We (a couple in our twenties) spent a week with Freeman Safaris in late October 2016 and would thoroughly recommend to anyone looking for a truly authentic safari experience. Brian and the team are wonderful hosts and make you feel welcome and at home from the very first moment they meet you off the plane at the airstrip in the... More

Just returned from a safari at Brian Freeman's Camp in Masai Mara. If you expect luxurious tents, haute cuisine and a swimming pool, you will not find it here. This is comfortable accommodation and good food as a basis for the only thing that counts: gamedrive. Enjoying nature to the max. The camp is located on a riverbank, allowing you... More

Our experience with Freeman exceeded our expectations. No detail was too small and all of our requests were thoughtfully respected. Our Maasai guide was amazing, he was experienced and custom tailored each day to our wants. The camp was comfortable without being over the top. All the staff from Brian Freeman to the man who carried our bags were friendly... More

As a first time visitor to Africa going with "no expectations" (as I was told to do by seasoned safari goers) was the most amazing trip ever. It was almost sensory overload, in a good way...every minute was : a symphony of sounds....although the first couple of nights when I couldn't distinguish which roar, growl, laugh, munch etc. Came from...
