Lovely museum documenting the history of Lamu archipelago. Great for research or if you're just curious about the Swahili culture. Entry fee is super cheap as well.

The Lamu museum is small but well done and was far more informative about the history of the town and area than the Lamu Fort (though a ticket for one is valid for the other)

Ancient amazing history, lots of archives rich in heritage and culture. We got a lot to learn and understand. The guide are awesome as well.

This was the best museum I have been to in a while. Really great history of the building and lots of facts and artefacts. Do ask for Ali to give you a tour, he is really great and full to the brim of facts!
