Amazing to see these animals up close
Nov. 2021
What a great place. It doesn't take long to visit if you are only there to feed/interact with giraffes. There are staff on hand who are very knowledgeable and can answer just about any question you have.

They were super nice and offered to help take pictures and offered tips to get great pics. You can touch the giraffes, but please do be careful of their eyes if you decide to get an over the shoulder type shot with your hand on their face. I watched more than a couple people accidentally get too close and/or poke their eyes with their fingers.

Someone else mentioned it's a "tourist trap". Are there tourists? Of course. They also say you can do this in a zoo. No zoo that I have ever been to has allowed this type of interaction. On top of that, these folks are out here advocating and educating the public about these wonderful animals. We also know that they are well cared after. Zoo's on the other hand? you never know what you're getting when you're in other parts of the world and whether they are even treated humanely.

Quite expensive fun activity
Oct. 2021
We could get to this place by public transport from the city center, but you need to take a nice 10-minute walk. The center is well organized and beautiful. The moment you get your ticket you will get a bowl of giraffe food. Feeding them is super cool and being able to get so close to them is amazing. Except for this, there is not much at the center, just some information on the giraffes.
There is a park on the other side of the center where you can freely roam, which I really suggest not to miss if you're there, but know that experiencing all this is not extraordinary, and is quite expensive.

Fun Feeding The Giraffe!!
Nov. 2021
We had so much fun feeding the giraffe. Thanks, Jay, from Africa Travel Resource for suggesting we stop there before going to our safari camp.

Tourist trap. Most disappointing experience in Kenya.

Yes, there are Giraffes, yes they are cute and yes you can feed them. But you can do it in your local zoo too and the experience isnt any different. I was probably expecting to have an experience like the Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, and was sorely disappointed. If you don't want to spend $15 bucks on a tourist trap, you'd want to stay away. You're guaranteed to see a giraffe in Kenya, if you're on a safari. You won't miss anything if you don't go to this ill-maintained place.

Not worth it!

Very tiny place with 3 or 4 giraffes. If you’re lucky enough and they will be hangry you can feed them with the small bag of
pellets you are given.. even though it’s not that many tourist in Kenya right now, there still many locals here. CONSTRUCTION everywhere and it’s very loud . This place isn’t worth going to at all! Just save your money and time and go to Nairobi National Park.
Also we had a bad experience with a manager, I believe her name is Kristin.

Wow, it was amazing! Have a camera ready to shoot some pics 😉 I loved the project, and it was so nice to see that they are taking good care of them.

Probably one of my favourite experience in Nairobi.
It is just a wonderful experience that you have to do when you visit Nairobi.
The plus was also to learn about the species.

Super fun to feed the giraffes
Sep. 2021
It's hard to find something cuter or more fun than hand feeding a bunch of giraffes. They are such gentle animals. You haven't lived until you put a piece of feed between your lips and have the giraffe gently take it :-)

Such a nice and enjoyable stop to not only feed but learn about the beautiful endangered Rothschild giraffes. They are such sweet, gentle giants and you get to spend so much time observing and feed them.

How to become a child again !!!
Aug. 2021 • Friends
It was a happy experience that turned us into children! - I fed the giraffes! each person receives a bowl of animal-specific food, and giraffes know this and come to receive food from your hand. It is a very interesting feeling that the giraffes trust you and are waiting to receive food. This park is in the immediate vicinity of the Giraffe Manor Hotel.
