Travel to Africa in pandemic times were smoothly and safe with Dan.
We landed in Nairobi, stayed a night before our driver picked us up the next day to start our Safari. We first went to Amboseli for 2 nights, and 6 in Masai Mara. After the safari ended we were driven back to a hotel near the airport for our late night flight to our country. The land cruiser was very comfortable and there were only 2 of us plus the driver so we had lots of room.
Amboseli was amazing, Kibo safari Camp is a very nice camp, with excellent food and very good service. Our guide Obadiah exceeded our expectations and Amboseli is really a place to return.
The food and accomodation were also really great in all locations. On Mare we were at the Oldarpoi Wageni Mara camp located in the middle of a private conservancy called Nashulai. Masai warriors guarded the camp at night and escorted us to our rooms and the tents are really cool. We could hear all the Wild sounds at night. During the day we were able to spend all day on Masai Mara taking our photos and enjoying.
Even in this hard pandemic times we felt in safe hands and that Dan was well connected and organised enough to resolve any problems that could arise.
I would highly recommend using Real Masai Safari Tours for any safari holiday you are planning, they are reliable, professional and very well connected.

We had such an unforgettable experience in such a short time (9 days). Feeling like we spent 3 months cruising in the Ngorognoro and the Serengeti with Alfa our top guide, spotting wildlife (see pics) and then relaxing on an amazing white sand beach of Zanzibar or visiting Stonetown...
Thank you Dan Galati for the perfect organization

My best mate and I had the pleasure of doing safari in Kenya at Samburu, Amboseli, Masai Mara and Nairobi. It was an awesome experience that I could not only recommend to people (singles, couples or families) to go and adventure for them selves but definitely will be returning to do it all over again in the not to distant future.
Our tour guide Dan Galati and his team were great, very informative. Any animal that flew, ran, walked or crawled Dan and his team had full awareness and knowledge of each animal we saw, which made this experience all the worth while. If your an experienced photographer or just an amateur with a camera phone or someone like me who is happy to enjoy the surrounds of nature the Real Masai drivers will get you into the prime locations for the best shots and views.
The accommodation provided was excellent ! Food was great. And as a non meat eater I had plenty of options throughout my time here. The people here in Kenya are just made of awesomeness.
No words or pictures can really describe the sights, sounds (especially at night!), smells and energy of the Kenyan safari. Above all this it was amazing experience.
Definitely beats watching the national geographic channel!

These guys were the tour operators for a recent safari I was on that took in Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru and the Masai Mara. The organisation was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. We had the added bonus that we were joined by Dan Galati who is not only a great photographer but a great guy to be with. Could not recommend Real Masai Safari highly enough.

Our Family of 4 have just finished a memorable 18 day Safari in Kenya, Tanzania and Rwanda.
I could not recommend Real Masai Safari Tours more! It was an amazing experience that was well organised throughout with attention to detail.
From the plains of Kenya’s Masai Mara to the beauty of Tanzania’s Serengeti and Ngorongoro we were spoilt the different wildlife sightings, including 12 Lions trying
To pull down a cape Buffalo, which was saved by a huge other buffalo herd!
Dan and his team went above and beyond to make sure we spotted as many predators as possible which some of which are hard to find.
The food and accomodation were also really great in all locations. A highlight was at the Oldarpoi Mara camp located in the middle of a private conservancy called Nashulai! This was particularly cool because Masai warriors guarded the camp at night and escorted us to our rooms. We could hear all the Lions and hyenas at night.
Rwanda’s gorilla trek was probably the highlight of our trip. We were only a couple of metres away from a silverback and his family. It was truly a fantastic experience and highly recommended.
Our First African Safari adventure will not be our last.
Thanks again to Dan and his team for the unforgettable experience.

As a photo safari guide, I was looking for a company to partner with who could look after all my bookings for accommodation, vehicles and game drives and I chose to give Real Masai Safari Tours a go.
I went out to Kenya a couple of weeks early and spent some invaluable time with Dan and accompanied him on game drives in the Maasai Mara and Nairobi National Park. I saw first hand how Dan treated his clients and was instantly put at ease with using Real Masai Safari Tours for my photo safari.
Dan arranged a 3-day private tour for me to go to Samburu on my own which I had never done before. I felt safe and well looked after throughout!
On 19th July my guests arrived from England and we embarked on an epic photo safari to Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha and the Masai Mara. Dan booked everything I needed and arranged all the finer details so I could concentrate on looking after my guests and helping them with their photography. We had an amazing 10 days together! Fantastic sightings and I still can't quite believe how smoothly everything went.
Even though we didn't have any problems on this trip (thankfully) I felt in safe hands and that Dan was well connected and organised enough to resolve any problems if they did arise.
I would highly recommend using Real Masai Safari Tours for any safari holiday you are planning, they are reliable, professional and very well connected.
I think the biggest recommendation you can give someone is to use them again and I was that impressed that I will be using Real Masai Safari Tours to organise all my photo safaris from now on.
Roll on the next one!
Thank you Dan and Elvis!

Dan, Nelson, the expert spotters and the team from Real Masai Safari has a real passion for wild life in Africa and their enthusiasm shows throughout the whole tour experience.
Seeing herds of elephants, giraffes, gazelles, wildebeests and the exciting search for lions, cheetahs, hippos, leopards, rhinos and more.. made an unforgettable memory.
Very much enjoyed the stories they shared about the animal kingdom and the Masai warriors. The game reserve drives across Samburu, Amoseli and Masai Mara were expertly guides in a safe and comfortable pace.
Highly recommend to friends and family.

Following their advice, my best friend and I booked a 9 day Safari Tour covering Samburu, Amboseli and Masai Mara National Parks. The experience was once in a lifetime and highly recommended.
The team of guides is very experienced and passionate, their vehicles are top notch, and knowledge of the parks second to none, making the game drive experience incredible. We saw the famous African Big Five and many, many more animals up close and very personal.
We also learned lots about Masai tribal culture and history, from real Masai guides.
The accommodation provided was perfect, the transfers were smooth, and the service at every point exceeded expectations. Food was great too!
On further advice, we added a 4 day stay in Diani Beach, and we were glad we did so, as it was the perfect way to rest and unwind after all the game drive action.
Having travelled to many countries and been on many tours, I was very impressed and satisfied, and will definitely be back!

We always wanted to go on a Safari, thinking South Africa was the only place to go. We met Dan coincidentally from Real Masai Safari. We knew after meeting him we had to do our Safari through Real Masai Safari company and see what a REAL safari would be like in Kenya. The Safari was an unreal experience. We landed in Nairobi, stayed a night before our driver picked us up the next day to start our Safari. We first went to Samburu for 2 nights, 1 night in Lake Naivasha and 3 in Masai Mara. After the safari ended we were driven back to a hotel near the airport to freshen up for our late night flight to our next country. The land cruiser was very comfortable and there were only 2 of us plus the driver so we had lots of room. The accommodation we stayed in throughout the trip always had welcoming staff and they would go above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. All essential amenities were provided. The rooms were always clean and mosquito free as they would spray our rooms before bed time and all beds have nets to keep the mosquitos away.At two of our destinations we stayed in 'luxury' tents. They were stable, fixed tents with flooring, showers, hot water, toilets and comfortable beds. The food was always cooked fresh everyday with lots of variety. Bottled water was always available. Our guide and driver Ole was skilled and experienced. He knew where to go and at what times for us to experience the best game drives we could. In saying that, there was only two of us in the land cruiser so we were able to customise our trip with him, choosing when we would go out for our game drives. We were lucky enough to see a massive variety of animals including; lions (male, female & cubs), hyenas, cheetahs, leopards, hippos, giraffes, baboons, monkeys, wildebeest, elephants, eagles, zebras and more. Be prepared to get dusty and sweaty at times. Wearing shorts was fine, or tights, black socks and joggers are ideal.Dealing with Dan from Real Masai Safari was a breeze, with endless emailing back and forth, Dan would always answer any questions we had. We highly recommend booking with Real Masai Safari as you will not be disappointed and your safari experience will be one you will never forget with these guys.If you are planning a safari trip and want to see a variety of animals in their natural habitat then look no further, give Dan a call from Real Masai Safari to experience a REAL & RAW experience!

Real Masai Safaris:
Wow! All I can say if you’re thinking of going on a safari. Get in touch with Dan NOW!!!! My husband and I knew we wanted to go on a safari for our honeymoon but also wanted to incorporate scuba diving while in Africa. Prior to getting in touch with Dan, I had emailed several other companies who either took a while to get back to me or wanted to sell me a “package”. Neither which matched our goals. A friend had recommended I contact Dan and upon emailing him, he got back to me in less than hour with many questions about what we wanted so he could help plan our dream honeymoon.
He absolutely nailed it! We went on our honeymoon the last 2 weeks of September and we are still in awe about the entire trip. It was hands down, the smoothest trip we have ever been on. We spent 1 week in Kenya on a safari and 1 week in Zanzibar, Tanzania at an amazing resort to scuba dive and relax. From the second we got picked up at the Nairobi airport to the second we got dropped off, everything was seamless. Dan and his business partner Nelson had check in with us throughout the trip to make sure everything was going well.
Our guide, Ole, was simply incredible. And this is where Real Maasai Safaris absolutely gets it right. No one knows the land and animal behavior better than the Masai people, it is their land after all! He knew all the right places to take us to see the big 5. On 2 occasions (in the same day!) he was able to find the rare black rhino when no one else could - he was able to spot it from over 300 yards away on the other side of a valley! We were so amazed! While we were in the Maasai Mara we also had a guide James with us while on the game drives. Between him & Ole we learned a lot about Kenya and the Maasai culture which made the trip so much more meaningful and enjoyable. You will do yourself a disservice if you do not use these guys!
Accommodations were all great. The Kenyans and Tanzanians are the most genuinely gracious people I have met in my travels and truly made our trip so much more memorable.
I firmly believe if it weren’t for Real Masai Safari Tours and Dan Galati, our honeymoon would not have been as spectacular as it was. He truly went above and beyond our wildest expectations and delivered a trip of a lifetime. 2 months later and we are still showing off our pictures, recommending Real Masai Safaris to everyone we encounter, and talking about our experience.
Please, if you are even considering a safari, get in touch with them ASAP, you will not be disappointed!!
