All of the centre was so amazing, because of the incredible work that is carried out with the animals at the centre. The manager's passion for the animals and the work undertaken, absolutely shone through, and he is truly inspirational.
The work is incredibly necessary and the educational aspect so vital.
Please continue and I would return if and when I come back to Luxor.
I fully recommend people to visit and donate to such a deserving charity.
Long may this much necessary work continue.

Been visiting luxor and Ace for many many years and as usual packed most of my suitcase with donations for the Ace charity shop in luxor ,oppisit the Lantern resturant.
Alas egypt air did not send my suitcase on flight with me from Heathrow direct to luxor ! Up and to now still have not seen my case which was checked in at Heathrow nearly 3weeks ago.
To cut a long story short instead of donating clothes, magazines etc..i ended up having to shop there so was so glad i had contributed to the stock just as many many people do to make some money inorder to treat sick egypt animals.
Keep up the excellent work, and when i return i hope my case/z make it with me so i can donote to 'Ace'. From WENDE.

We went to the head office of ACE to make a donation - and we found a wonderfully quiet, well appointed animal hospital. It was so much better than I thought it would be,and we were really impressed by the staff, and the conditions that the resident animals were kept.

Perfect! It was great to visit this place! You really see how much they care about the animals, they put a lot of work in the health of the animals and give them a better life. It’s great to see such an initiative in Egypt! They also educated the owners and school children how to treat the animals right, because animals surely also have feelings and are not objects!! Most of their work is about making the animals who are sick or hurt better, but they also take care of street animals and have a cat hotel. You can also adopt some of the animals. Totally recommend. Very friendly people with their heart full of love for animals. Interesting to know is that they put all the money of donations really into making to place better for the animals, provide new things, food,…

We travel to Luxor annually and started visiting ACE about 10 years ago. To see the work they do for the local people and animals is confirmation of compassion in action. You can wander around yourself or be shown around to see the inpatient horses and donkeys all receiving proper vetinary treatment. A British charity, they rely on fundraising and donations. Our recent visit we were able to gather uo 50 kilos of much needed supplies of sudscreme and vet wrap bandages, as well as good as new clothes they can sell in thier charity shop. If you have a few hours to spare do go along ( tell taxi driver it's near the traffic police) to see for yourself just how effectively ACEvis changing hearts and minds about looking after working animals, cats and dogs in Egypt. They also have the biggest tortoises I've ever seen - Fred and Wilma, which kids will love. A really heartwarming and interesting few hours well spent amongst people who's passion is all about receiving animal suffering. I really can't recommend a visit highly enough.

I loved the friendliness and seeing the animals being so well cared for and the fact that the Egyptian people can take their horses and donkeys to the center to get treated free of charge. This is all thanks to everyone who so generously donates to Ace. Also to vets who volunteer to help these beautiful animals. These animals are so hard worked, but without them families would have no food or income.
I also love the fact that Egyptian children go to the center to learn how to look after the animals. This means the next generation will be kinder and more knowlegable on how to look after and treat their horses and donkeys. This really excites me to think so much suffering will be stopped. The work at Ace is incredible. You can even speak to the vets and see the horses, donkeys after treatment. A wonderful place to visit.

My story with ACE started at a bus station. I was waiting to catch a bus to Hurghada when I this pitiful horse tied to post on concrete full of open wounds. A horrible sight.
Going home I couldn't stop thinking of that horse. It became an obsession. As soon as I could I checked on internet if I could find in Luxor an organisation that could take care of that horse. That's when I discovered ACE.
I was amazed at the efforts they went to find that horse because I was not able to give them much information. When they said they had found the horse I was overjoyed.
Now each time I go to Luxor I go with my guide to visit that wonderful center where I can find peace. I had found people that really cared, a place where every animal is important and worth saving. When you visit that center it makes you feel a bit better about this world.
