The village is a knockoff of many of the real Egyptian historical sites all mushed together in one place. You'll find a "typical" temple and a "typical" noble mans house, poor replicas of king tuts treasures, a plastic mummy and many other items that you can find for real if you visit the actual sites in Egypt or the Egyptian... We were initally concern on arranging transportation and selecting sites as it was our first visit. Br. Ahmed made us totally comfortable right after welcoming us on the given time at the hotel. This place was very nice to visit, and we had a wonderfun guide there who knew the egyptian history very well. You can choose different routes/programs. Takes 2-4 hours to see everything depending witch program you choose!

I misunderstood and thought he was trying to sell me a ticket to enter. I said No. As my husband had told me where to buy my ticket. He... More

The Pharaonic Village has a lovely location on its own island in the Nile, this is what it makes so special. There is plenty of parking, a dubious ticketing system and a ferry boat to bring you to the island. Despite it's just 50m to go, the ferry is waiting until full which can take ages. I found this annoying.... More
