A great experience to stand by the side of the pyramid and to be amazed by its size, its history and the construction techniques. Plus one needs to remember that this is not a building but a tomb which tells you a lot about the...More

A great Pyramid to visit. It's in pretty good shape and you can get some great shots. Plan on 45 minutes to walk this.

Everyone knows about the pyramids but seeing them at first hand is stunning. The sheer scale and magnitude is overwhelming. How on earth they were constructed with primitive tools and equipment is mind blowing.

Once in a lifetime, so happy to get a chance to visit. I loved seeing the pyramids, although I couldn't go up to the King's Chamber as the inside climb made me feel ill. The ceiling was so low! Do visit the boat, it was...More

The pyramid of Cheops is an iconic monument of Egypt. Luckily for the visitors, there are currently rather few tourists.

Cheops/Keops is the largest pyramid and visible for many miles. You can enter the pyramid but it is quite claustrophobic and the queues are long. Large tour groups seem to monopolize Cheops but not the others. We chose to take photos of Cheops and visit...More

We visited it with a guided tour group. We were given a lot of details regarding the constructing of the pyramid and so much more. The stone blocks are hugh. Would highly recommend visiting.

One of the most important archaeological tombs in the world is one of the seven wonders of the world, which is a symbol of the ancient Egyptian civilization, if you want to take a beautiful picture of the most beautiful pyramid in the world.

The great pyramids in Giza and the Sphinx were incredible. Trip of a lifetime. We even had a camel ride which was fun and seemed very safe.

Cairo is the closest major city and has an international airport. Giza is effectively a suburb of Cairo, where the Pyramids are located. Yes, you need a visa. But you can buy it when you land - $25US per person.
