There really are no adjectives or metaphors that do justice to the impressive pyramids on the Giza plateau, and Keops is at it's heart. It's not expensive to gain entry, and don't forget your photo ticket. Saying that, this is Egypt, so although you're not allowed to take your camera inside, they allow you to take your smartphone! There's even... More

Without a doubt a must see visit - one of the ancient seven wonders and well in tact. Prepare for lots of people with you but do make the effort. Go the step further and get your own guide for a day in Cairo. They ensure you are charged correctly and treated well. My guide charged US$50 and was well... More

Keops pyramid was allegedly constructed over 20 years for 4th dynasty Egyptrian Pharoah Khufu. We opted for the horse donkey carriage ride around the pyramids for an even more relaxing and comfortable tour and the site is quite astounding, in fact it takes time to absorb the enormity of the pyramids and the wonder of how it was ever constructed... Incredible experience - really humbling to visit these creations- Shereif was able to help us understand the background to their construction and helped us get a view of how the people who built them lived and how they transported the stones from across other parts of Egypt

Good one , Must visit. Enjoyed the Pyrmids. Even though it was a second visit but I was as excited as first one. Please don't forget to get a camel or horse ride and get into desert. Also catch hold a local and get some Amazing clicks with pyrmids and Sphinx.

Ticked this off my BUCKET LIST. We stayed in a small guesthouse on the Sphinx side of the pyramides. It was a small low end place but we had the BEST views from our room and the rooftop balcony. We visited the pyramid and climed to the top: its NOT worth it.
