This mosque was amazing to see, especially with how old it is. And just outside you get panoramic views of Cairo, where you can take some really nice pics. Worth a visit.

I went there for the history lesson and got to see a fort built around 1200 AD and a mosque made out of alabaster. Worth the trip!

A beautiful mosque located inside the Citadel built by Sultan Salahuddin Ayuubi. Must see. See the mimber and the lights and experience the echo of prayer.

Anything with the name Mohamed Ali is good to me. LOL. in reality, the architecture and domed features is amazing and something to behold. I am so glad this mosque is open for viewing. This was an added benefit to the Citadel tour.

This place is located in the city not like other monuments I.e. Pyramids. This is an great monument to see.... But compare to Pyramids it's not a great placale. However it's really great place to watch in Cairo.
