For those who want to look at the Christian side of Egyptian history, this is the place to go. I recommend going with a reliable cab who knows where he's going or a tour guide because it's in the old city and might be convoluted....More

Can be avoided if there is no time. but its a good walk there in narrow streets. Nothing too great. .

It is a bit hidden and hard to figure out if you are visiting on your own. Better to have a local with you. Each step has something to explore. Not to be missed

it will gives you a goose pumps.. Mary, Joseph and Jesus hide there for a while, and there is tub where Jesus Christ bathed there. .. there is the hanging church as well.. worth a visit

As my guide pointed out, Coptic means Egypt, so the old Egyptian Christian Churches. Was very interesting to see but yes... contact me if you want to know more.

I was overwhelmed by the magnitude of this religious site. Jesus, Mary and Joseph lived here when they were exiled in Egypt. You could feel the sanctity of the site
