Al-Ahzar Mosque and Al-Ahzar University are from the 10th century. This University is the oldest in the world. I went through the interior and was informed in detail about the details

I was so looking forward to seeing this great Mosque with rich history. Unfortunately, at present, almost the entire qibla facade and interior are being renovated, also the minarets. Entry through the gates is closed and women wearing pants will be made to wear coverings....More

Mosque Al-Azhar should be part of any visit to Cairo. This used to be the first university that was established over a 1000 years ago.

This Mosque is 1,050 years old. It holds a Beautiful architecture and a peaceful aura about it self. Go visit and have a seat. You'll see what I am talking about.

THis Mosque very nice inside , no entranfee , people frienly , only need wear long dress or trouse when come inside and hide al hair with women.
