Go on a clear day for great views of the Pyramids to the Citadel. Go at night to see Cairo lit up. If you have some extra time it is worth the views. There are lines sometimes so be prepared to possibly wait.

Great view from the top. Interesting how the tower was funded. Go on a clear night if possible and see the pyramids

The lines are long and have significant waits. Near the Egyptian Museum, it is easy to see the tower, but I wouldn't recommend spending the wait time to go up in the tower.

Nothing great as similar views of Cairo City were seen from Citadel for free, after viewing Mohammed Ali Mosque. Also, the hazy & foggy weather affected the viewing. Overall, not recmmended

The views from the top are overseeing Nile and are good. But the long queues to first go up (1.5 hours) and then to return (30 mins) is pretty too long to tire any one. The place is really crowded. The telescope was not working....More

Dinner isn't quite the right word for what you can get there. Minimum spending 200 Egyptian Pound for some snacks and beverages. Food is simple but fair.

I agree with the others, a glorified snack bar providing a civilized way of having a respite and seeing the city rotate in front of you
