Visiting the Egyptian Air Museum was a fantastic experience! The outdoor exhibits beautifully showcased the rich history of Egyptian aviation, and the aircraft on display were truly impressive. The indoor displays were both modern and well-explained, with detailed descriptions available in English for those who need it. The staff were incredibly friendly and made our visit even more enjoyable. Our day at the museum was nothing short of amazing and we would highly recommend it to anyone interested in aviation or history. The museum's dedication to preserving and showcasing their history is truly something to be proud of. BONUS, while we were there, a very high-up dignitary of the Egypt Air Force visited to see one of the exhibits and have a meeting in their huge helicopter. It was very neat!

I loved my experience there a lot, i have attended an outstanding event there
" Proudly made in Egypt" .
The museum has hosted plenty of only Egyptian designers and artists to exhibit their 100% Egyptian products in the museum field whereas you can see historical planes with modern products and arts.
Moreover, there are lots of activities for both children and adults.
i guarantee that you won't get bored in your visit, whether you are coming with your family or friends.

Yes, there's a fair amount of stale propaganda here, and it's a little awkward to enter (the gate guards seemed surprised by foreign visitors, you'll need to bring your passport, and the actual museum is a good walk from the street entrance) but overall this is one of the best museums in Egypt. There are plenty of aircraft on outdoor display, thorough indoor exhibits with lots of equipment, uniforms, and photos, and a gift shop which sells their own branded merchandise including mugs, t-shirts and coloring books. I was given not one but two English-speaking guides who were knowledgeable, friendly, and most importantly encouraged me to explore on my own. The museum should also be applauded for its kids' activities, they seem to be making a genuine effort to educate.

The museum is an amazing experience for young kids and adults and offers fair variety of aircraft in display (thought there are no contemporary aircrafts in display). The ticket or for 30 EGP (less than 2 USD) for Egyptians and 60 EGP (less than 4 USD) for non-Egyptian tourists. The museum offers a free guided group tour of the museum and different items in display that takes around 2 hours. Guests are allowed to touch (and even ride some of) the aircraft on display so it offers amazing experience for younger kids.
Overall it is an amazing experience for kids and adults and if you are an aviation geek you won’t be disappointed. The only downside the is the summer heat in the outside area, so this museum is ideally to be visited during the cooler autumn or winter seasons.

This museum is in Heliopolis which is a good thing for Heliopolis habitants since there aren’t many museums in the area.
The museum will provide a good brief on the Egyptian Air Force history
Kids will enjoy too and it is not expensive

A very cheap attraction for all those who love aviation. You get a good historical background of the Egyptian Air Force. You get to see many aircraft models and you can also experience the simulator for a joy ride. You can also hire a tour guide for the visit.

Very good outdoor museum, under shade. The roofing means some of the exhibits will be in shade, but spend enough time there and you'll get it all in sun. A few aircraft in the indoor museum metres away. All in all a worthwhile few hours.

This will mostly suit families with kids and will get a good historical background on the Egyptian air force history. There are real planes and fighter jets on show which was really interesting to watch. Inside, there is a flight like model that you can ride and enjoy the trip with the narrator. The tour takes 2-3 hours. The entry fees is really cheap.
