You can also buy a ticket to gain entry into approximately 7 different buildings all of which are steeped in history. Make sure you also take time to sit in one of the many cafe's and watch... More

We visited this pedestrian-only street during Ramadan, where it was filled with revelers enjoying their last meal of the day (suhoor). It was crowded and full of life, with mostly local families enjoying the sights and sounds of Ramadan.

I love this street. Its great to walk along. Everyone is very friendly. You can walk past souvenir shops, fruit stalls, old mosques, madrassas and food stalls. You have to pay to go inside the monuments, but also you should walk down some of the side streets to see ordinary life going on.

A variety of old buildings. Lots to see here. Sometimes you think time stood still. Keep your eyes open in all directions, because the small things are what matter most. Highly recommended!
