I booked this cruise through my guide in Cairo and Alexandria. It was quite expensive but absolutely worth the price. Delicious food buffé and the cabin is beautiful and elegantly furnished, clean and spacious. I had my very own tour guide who speaks fluent english. I really enjoyed every minute of my cruise on board M/S Concerto.

We are about to leave this beautiful old boat after our 4 night Nile cruise from Luxor to Aswan. I cannot recommend this trip enough. We have had a fabulous time. The boat has capacity for 44 passengers, but on this occasion there we're only 17 of us. The boat is wonderfully preserved and very comfortable, food was delicious and... More

I took the Classic Egypt tour 10 nights in Luxor & Cairo through Discover Egypt, with 7 of those nights on the boat. I had never heard of Discover Egypt and couldn't find a lot of reviews on the internat, so I was a bit wary of making a reservation online, but everything went without a hitch. I see some... More

when i read the review it the cruise ship was rated 5 star deluxe but on board it didn't seem to be deserving more than 2 stars. i only lasted one day and before sailing i decided to leave the cruise and change my plan. the sun deck was not a 5 star for sure..towels are old and frail. the... More

Just done the long Nile cruise Cairo to Luxor (it also goes on to Aswan) on the M/S Darakum. There were fellow travellers booked onto this through Orbital, Jules Verne, Cox & Kings and a German operator, but forget which. We had an absolute blast. Tours to ancient Egyptian sites that aren't so easy to access were very well organised... More

We have just returned from a 9 day cruise from Luxor to Cairo with Jules Verne. The trip was amazing- cultural highlights were combined with the right amount of relaxation aboard the ship. Staying on the MS Darakum was truly a privilege- the staff were very attentive and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The cabins were very clean... More

Wow! What a treat! We joined El Sherif Tours in Luxor - where Sacred Egyptian mystery hangs in the air, and were greeted by Mr Sherif himself. A very charming and professional business man, who instantly put us at ease. The boat was gorgeous and had, not only our beautiful rooms but a wonderful spacious sun deck on top too!... More

Orbital Travel was the Egyptian operator for our 7 night trip aboard the MS Royal Esadora, which I have happily given 5 stars, but some may choose to give it 4. The cruise ship was spotlessly clean, the staff were incredibly attentive, helpful and friendly and you felt that nothing was too much trouble. The cabins were comfortable and the... More

We were booked for a 5 day cruise on the Royal La Terrasse as part of a 10 day tour in Egypt at the beginning of April. The boat is older and looks a little dated and worn, but most of the boats on the Nile are nowadays. I will say that it was very clean, and the staff were... More

Only Oberoi in name & price only The food was of the standard of a two star hotel. The boat needs a lot of work doing on it. Floors are coming up in the common areas. Dangerous lights in the shower ceilings dirty scorched linen. Broken umbrellas. Very little fresh fruit (even though it can be bought in the local... More
