Neighbourhood: Insadong
Nestled between Jongno and Samcheongdong, this small neighborhood offers a crash course in various aspects of Korean culture. Rows of shops display traditional Korean goods such as pottery and earthenware, crafts, fans, and more, making it a popular spot for souvenir shopping. The Ssamziegil shopping complex in particular has become a local institution for its unique spiral layout and the many boutique shops inside that sell handmade crafts and goods. This is the perfect neighborhood to sample a range of Korean dishes, with vegetarian Korean temple cuisine restaurants being a popular draw, but street food carts are just as famous. As a top tourist destination, crowds can swell, particularly on weekends, but you can find some rest and respite in one of the private art galleries or grab a cup of Korean tea in a tea house – many of which are located in beautifully renovated traditional Korean homes.

After playing the Running Man experience center, you will feel that Dynamic Maze is a little weaker, but in fact it is not bad. It requires physical strength and brainpower, and is suitable for the whole family. Coupled with the affordable fare, it is an itinerary option that can be considered. However, it may be a bit difficult for some uncles and aunts who do not exercise on weekdays, so you should do what you can before playing.

We were in Seoul for a few days and this was one of the highlights in one of the Hong Kong travel books. We drove there and initially got a bit lost, but my son was sharp and spot the entrance at the beginning of Isadong Street. Age requirement is 5 years + and kids must be over 120cm. Ticket costed KRW18,000 per person which includes visit to the side Alive Museum. The whole maze journey took about 30 minutes and consisted a mix of ups and downs, darkness, optical illusions, screaming, photo taking, puzzles and climbing, just like exploring around a kids adventure zone. My kids loved best the "screaming" section. One part was complete darkness and can be quite scary for those with "phobia". We conquered it by holding our hands and touching and feeling the walls. Adults with weak backs may be a pain as some of the climbing can be quite twisting. No phones allowed inside. Lockers were provided to store your shoes and valuables. The kids loved it so much that they wanted to go inside again.

My husband, 4 year old son and I tried the dynamic maze, which took us about 15 minutes to solve. Its not just a maze, but you have to solve activities to enable you to pass the stage, and continue on in the maze. There's a lot of climbing, crawling, so it does help if you're a little bit smaller built. Overall we thought it was fun, but if you decide to try it out, wear socks, and don't wear big jackets, as it does get a little hot after all the climbing, crawling etc... I would say this activity is suitable for all ages.

Sometimes it is difficult for a parent of a grumpy teenager (15) to make everyone happy...
I can't remember the last time we have laughed THIS much!
So much fun and I know even the teenagers were having a blast!
Highly suggest.

Our family went there due to the cold weather and it was a good time. It is located about 5-10 minutes from the Jongno-3-ga station (exit 5). Once we got there we were able to buy our tickets easily and from there they have lockers. Anticipate putting everything into your locker to include your phones (my guess is they don't want to have to find it). From there we ended up having about a 10 minute wait to start. Once we got going ot was pretty fast paced. Our 13 and 11 year old boys had a blast but it was fairly easy for them. Our 6 year old was the one that needed the most help but it was very doable. Each one of the 16 missions were different and fun in their own way but you kept on moving. All in all if you are looking for an indoor activity this is a great option!

Looking at all that Seoul had to offer for kids, we added this to our list of things to do. It was a great experience from start to finish. The guy who does the safety briefing and stretching made it fun in several languages, and this helps to space out when you enter the maze, so that you don't run into other people.

Inside the maze are all kinds of physical and mental challenges, which are great for ages 7-12. If you are a parent, be aware that you will need to be average size or smaller to get through some of the elements. I am 165cm and 60kg and felt 'big' in there. As someone said in another review, if you are OK going through a McDonald's indoor playgym or equivalent, expect some of that here.

Some people have grumbled that the maze doesn't take very long to finish, which is true, but that said, if it were twice as long, it might have started to feel onorous. Maybe the ideal solution would be to have two mazes, so that you can do one, take a break, and then do the other one. This attaction is partnered with a trick-eye museum nearby, so I can see how the two of those activities would fit together nicely. We didn't have time to do that on this trip.

We went there as a group of 5 teenagers and it was disappointing, it only lasted 15mins for 12000W and I trully encourage people over 12 years to find other activities as such activities will not provide you any fun nor challenge. It is still good for families or children.

Our main intention is go to Alive Museum, but we got the voucher for Alive Museum with Dynamic Maze, so we think why not? You'll be instructed to give your name to staff and they will assign you time. Wait for your name to be call and another staff will give you locker to store your bag, shoes and any belongings from your pocket. No photos allowed (seriously you wouldn't care to snap photos in it), and you've to wear pants/shorts. Multiple challenges that need to use your brain and body to solve it. Yes, there is SOS button if you feel want to give up but why would you? 😏
