I visited COEX Aquarium in October. I came here on the recommendation of my friend, and it was a great experience. The performance show was very good, and the seal was so cute. The staff inside were kind and I enjoyed watching and comfortably.

This aquarium is located in the Coex mall in Gangnam, Seoul. We enjoyed our visit - lots of Fish varieties we had never seen in other aquariums before as they are local to Korea and Asia. Displays are well organised and informative & my favourite section is the large tank where you can sit and watch the sharks, sting rays and schools of fish swimming around whilst listening to background music - very soothing. Exhibits were well displayed & children would enjoy it very much. Displays were quirky eg telephone box with fish swimming inside it. The Amazonia section was fascinating. There’s penguins, prairie dogs and manatees too. We spent about 1.5 hours here. It is quite deceptive in its size, as when you enter the aquarium there is a childlike vibe in terms of displays and colours. Then as you walk around there’s more and more displays and new creatures to meet. It’s a good place to visit especially if cold/ wet weather and need an indoor activity. Recommend as worth visiting.

This aquarium is next level! I went with my friend, and we both loved it. When we got there, they took our picture, which was cute. They have SO MANY types of fish, frogs, creatures, you name it. The lego exhibition was pretty unique and well done, it made for some cool photos. We paid for food to feed the koi fish, and it was such a cool experience. We loved the praire dogs too, I wasnt expecting to see them there, so it was a very welcome surprise. I found it very accessible to english speakers. There are so many great places to take pictures here, be it with the fish or with your friends. You can take it at your own pace, and you never feel rushed, which is lovely. You're going to want to take your time to soak it all in.

Amazing aquarium beautifully designed. The evening was a quiet time to appreciate the wide variety of fish, amphibians and marine mammals. The Bongueusa temple is across from the mall, for a change of pace.

I am a scuba diver so I always check out aquariums when I travel. I thought it would be bigger but it was nice. Make sure to buy your tickets on line to save money. A lot of fish and rays and sharks!
