This was a great alternative to taking the Namsan Cable Car. We enjoyed walking along the Seoul City Walls while checking out the great view of the city. Museum and displays along the way made it a worthwhile visit.

I love walking up Namsan. In the different seasons you can see all the beautiful scenery and nature changing. It is nice to go here and hike up as it is a long walk but it isn't too strenuous. The surrounding cafes and eateries often have amazing views. You don't even need to go up the tower to see incredible panoramas of Seoul. I would highly recommend it, especially as a free thing to do here.…

This is a popular place with the locals, especially friends and couples as proven by the number of love locks there. There are restaurants and cafe up there and also instant photo taking machines. You can choose to climb all the way up or go up by foot. I choose the easier way and went up by cable car. Good place to have a meal and enjoy the views.…

It helped that we went here on the first day so you can get to see Seoul and get your bearings. It is a huge city so it helps to see where everything from a bird's eye view. We were lucky that there was a cultural show as well at the bottom so that was enjoyable for the whole family to watch.…
