Basement - activity area where you can make stuffs to bring home as souvenirs. The activities differ but here are usually some for children and some for couples and families. Tax refund is here too... Sides and back - food, food, and more food. There are many exits that leads to small side paths, and there are many food places... More

I have been here before in 2006 and the place it very much the same. I enjoy taking photos here and there are many shops run by local artists selling their handy crafts. Time easily fly when walking around here and I enjoyed a coffee on the 4th floor. Super nice..

It's a charming building with many small stores, selling unique goods, supporting local artists. Worth the visit. The view at night is prettier and has a good vibe.

Nothing much interesting, but it is still a great experience to visit the place. Building without a stair.

I went to Ssamji-gil after Korean tea and desserts in the same street in Insadong. I like shopping at Ssamji-gil because they have Choo Choo Cat things. Other shops sell cute and trendy things. Recommended!

This is a small mall located in Insadong. The shops are selling locally made handicrafts. The prices are a bit high but many of the products are handmade locally. It is a nice place to walk around and explore.

A cool little shopping mall for hipsters with some cute little shops and restaurants, which might not be your cup of tea but it's a nice hangout nonetheless. Cool views from the roof up top.

Neighbourhood Profile
Nestled between Jongno and Samcheongdong, this small neighborhood offers a crash course in various aspects of Korean culture. Rows of shops display traditional Korean goods such as pottery and earthenware, crafts, fans, and more, making it a popular spot for souvenir shopping. The Ssamziegil shopping complex in particular has become a local institution for its unique spiral layout and the many boutique shops inside that sell handmade crafts and goods. This is the perfect neighborhood to sample a range of Korean dishes, with vegetarian Korean temple cuisine restaurants being a popular draw, but street food carts are just as famous. As a top tourist destination, crowds can swell, particularly on weekends, but you can find some rest and respite in one of the private art galleries or grab a cup of Korean tea in a tea house – many of which are located in beautifully renovated traditional Korean homes.
