This impressive statue overlooking the Mtvari river and nearby the Metekhi Cathedral represents the figure of the founder of Tbilisi and the king responsible to bring the capital from Mkskheta..

The statue overlooks the city and the river. It is located next to the Metekhi Cathedral. Both atractions are worth visiting, specially at night.
