The Sioni Cathedral is a typical example of medieval Georgian church architecture of an inscribed cross design with projecting polygonal apses in the east façade. This is very interesting saint place.

This cathedral is old and beautiful with impressive frescoes. Not very big so easy to pop in for a look. Dress appropriately.

One of the oldest churches in Tbilisi, being originally built in the 5th/6th century. surprisingly decorated inside, not really typical for an Orthodox church, I believe it to be a must-see in town. Located in the city centre it is very easy to reach.

A beautiful church to visit while walking in the city center, you will see it while walking around so no need to put it on the to-do list.

It is an old church and was the main before new Holy Trinity church was built, but still it is used for some traditional ceremony, for celebrating holy Nino's day, as the Cross of holy Nino is kept here.
