I went to see a recent production of Turnadot. The performance was very special and I enjoyed it immensely. I also enjoyed taking a look around the recently renovated building itself. It has a wonderful design and the inside is beautiful. It's a complete must...More

Both the exterior and the interior of this tastefully and painstakingly restored opera house made us long for the days long gone by. Moorish architecture on the outside coupled with European and Eastern elements on the inside makes one wonder about the cultural influences that...More

If you like ballet or opera it definitely worth checking out what is on at the Opera House while you are in Tbilisi. They have some world class performances at unheard of ticket prices (at least compared to anywhere else in Europe).

This review is quite late. The Paliashvili Opera House along Rustaveli Avenue is an imposing structure with its Moorish architectural design and impressive facade. It was closed for business when I passed by.

Paliashvili Opera House is located in Rustavelli street. It's easy to reach and Georgian show is great. Just check website for being in good scheduling, It's about 10 minutes from freedom square to be there.

Very beautiful building in the center of city, style not European and even not Georgian but in side of the building you can see very beautiful interior and the main thing -curtains ( the copy of previous one which was burned in fire 1972)
