That is a very crowded place with a very beautifull view from there. You can see the whole Tbilisi from there.

We had one day in Tbilisi before flying home and the view over the city is nice from Narikala fortress. Also it is just nice to wander around on the old walls

If you're in Tbilisi and want to enjoy some panoramic views over the capital, go up to Narikala fortress. You can either hike steep cobbled streets up or take a cable car. Views are breathtaking. To enter Narikala fortress is free of charge.

This Fortress is on the mountain and access is through Cable Car near peace bridge. 2-3 you can spend here seeing the fortress and Tbilisi from the top.

Definitely worth a visit if only for the great view. Not much left of the fort itself. We took the furnicular to get there and then walked back down through the old town, where we finished the afternoon off with a glass of wine.
