If you're expecting this to be like other chinatowns, you're going to be disappointed. We came here for street food at night but we were pretty let down as the whole area is pretty dirty, has weird stench and looked unhygienic. Didnt have much food...More

Chinatown in Yangon is located in the city center, since the time we went is during the Thingyan Festival, we only decided to take a grab there after the water splashing has stopped after 6pm. When we reached there, the place is lively with a...More

This place is loud, vibrant and full of good food. Lots of businesses being done here and some of the local shops here are very traditional and almost all business transactions here are done in cash. It is a little bit dirty to my liking...More

Chinatown offers dozens of shops with typical Chinese staff, lot of gold - and as much fantastic small restaurants(up to 8 guests). Both locals and tourists love this place where you can sit and observe all the chaos around.

If you have time, you should definitely visit Chinatown. Many people, interesting smell everywhere, big choice of fruits or street food - well, chinatown like in all big cities. Just one difference - between many people in tiny streets you will see buddhists.
