Largest White Marble Buddha
Mar. 2020
Witness the Largest Marble Buddha being carved in ONE stone. As we know, Myanmar is rich in natural stone. This stone was carved in Mandalay and was transported via river to Yangon. A massive task.
Foreigner will need to pay 5000 kyat entrance fee. This place is just 2 Km from the Airport and can arrive within mins.

Peaceful pagoda
Jan. 2020 • Couples
Last day in Yangon we went to this pagoda, quite a drive from downtown even though less than 10km.
I really like this place. Very peaceful, few people, an amazing one piece marble statue, unfortunately behind glass. We enjoyed the calm and quiet, very different from Shwedagon

The most attractive Budda's image
Dec. 2018 • Couples
I've seen probably hundreds of Budda's already. And this one I like the most in Yangon. It is big and positive. Quiet place, not overcrowded.

good buddha statue
Jun. 2018 • Solo
this place is just up the road from where I live so I go regularly as it provides a peaceful location for a stroll. the pagoda sits on a small hill up towards the airport, worth visiting if you are passing by on your way to the airport or northwards out of town, but maybe not worth a visit if you are staying in downtown. (It can take between 40-60 minutes to get here from downtown). the highlight is the large marble statue, which is in a reflective glass case which makes it difficult to photograph.

Large marble Buddha
May 2018 • Solo
Carved from a single piece of marble, it's very impressive. Especially when you consider that it was moved from the quarry to it's current position without the aid of heavy machinery. Very cool.

Lifetime memories!
Feb. 2018 • Family
One who look for peace must visit this place once. Because of the stone’s nature, the place around Buddha is quite cool. We must see the white elephant which is unique from other Asian elephants, located opposite to the Pagoda.
