Right in the middle of the bustling city and not very far from the spectacular Shedangon, lies this gem of a park. The highlight of the park is of course the lake that covers most of the park and the wooden bridges that runs around the banks of the lakes. Jog around or just take a leisurely walk in the... More

Entrance fee is required. Not too expensive so its not an issue. Nice place to chill and take a good pic. Dont go at midday, very hot. Better wait until 3pm.

This park is nice enough but not something you should gonout of your way to see. The best part was actually taking the local bus to get there. There is a viewpoint called Utopia Tower that is actually quite good for a view of Yangon.

Great way to spend a couple of hours. In the heart of the city, and a popular spot for locals and tourists. One of the main sights to see in the park is the Karaweik barge. Built in the 1970's to resemble the Royal barge from years past. Stunningly beautiful both day and night.

Good please for me and group of my friends to run in the morning on holiday. Most of people come for relaxing and exercise every morning and evening.

Went there to see the Karaweik palace. Other than that there's nothing much. A lot of locals hang out there to relax. The planks are seriously old, cranky, breaking and need refurbishing.

I primarily wanted a photo of the Karaweik Palace (the large golden barge that appears to float on the water). Having explained this to our taxi driver he dropped us outside. To do this he had to drive into the park and pay for our entrance which may have been 300 MMK. You are then given a sticker to wear.... More

For me, Shwedagon Pagoda and Kandawgyi are the must see places in Yangon. The only problem for me was the wooden walkway. I was scared that if I stepped on the wrong one, I would fall.
