A beautiful and aesthetic temple complex with friendly atmosphere. Well worth a visit to recapture your zen peace.

This is a beautiful pagoda located at a busy intersection (basically in the middle of it). It's easy to combine it with some of the other sites nearby, including various other pagodas, Hindu temples, the famous synagogue and government buildings. Beware of the touts lurking...More

Pale in comparison to shweedagon. Touts in the form of students and monks rampant. Was quite disappointing for me.

Lovely guilted gold pagoda with turtle feeding pond and gold coconuts. Definitely worth seeing the Buddhas hair artefacts before shwedagon. Bit difficult to get to as the main road is so busy and traffic a bit congested and chaotic.
