Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This shop is unique! I love their products that celebrate the beauty and uniqueness of Burmese culture. However, I was so disappointed when one of the sales associates told me that many of their products are made in China! Why? Myanmar is a developing country with talented artisans who could benefit from having these items produced locally. In the future, I hope that this store will do more to promote locally produced items.

The images on the bags/pouches/coasters are quintessentially Burmese and that alone makes them a nice souvenir. The quality of the products is on a par with what you'd find at Nicky James or Muji. The price point is high by Burmese standards but quite reasonable for Londoners or even Singaporeans. The pouches are better value than the canvas prints. There is a satellite stall in the center of the Bogyoke Market.

Bags, cushion covers & curios have the elements of Myanmar people instead of landscape or abstract. Quite expensive but nice to browse thru.

Loved all the different Burmese pictures on bags etc. Some very nice jade pieces as well. As a shopper I liked that everything is priced. Not the cheapest but you get something different and made well.

I visited both the Scott Market and Sanchaung stores on my recent trip to Yangon. Yangoods sells gorgeous quality items. I particularly love the handbags and cushion covers. Expensive for Yangon but worth the price. I will definitely visit Yangoods on my next visit to Yangon.

For me it's a surprise to have listed a shop on TA as Thing to Do, but I understand that this will help other travelers.
The very best of this place are their designs. You really aren't going to find them elsewhere. The manufacture is from China in an above average quality, despite that most materials are synthetic they have good finishings.
Prices: expensive for Myanmar standards and just average for foreigners.

You can buy the best quality Jade rosaries and jade rosary bracelets from Taw Win Jewelry. It located at the right side back corner of Bogyoke Main Market. Look for Uncle Joe.

I was very much impressed with the creative and modern designs collaborated with Myanmar traditional vintage design.
Bogyoke Market itself is a must see main tourist attraction if you visit Yangon. The shop is just by the main entrance.
The quality of the products is awesome and there are so many items to look at. I couldn't help but bought myself cross bags and presents for the family. It was the best Christmas present. They loved every single present very much.
If you are looking for an exclusive brand and the best present to give to either your family or your business partner from Myanmar, Yangoods is the one!!

I am totally impressed about Yangoods since it is mainly inspired by the rejuvenation of Myanmar Culture. Fashion items by Yangoods are unique, made authentically by Myanmar as well as so fashionable. As for me, I like both vintage and pop fashion items.

i m travelling to yangon on 25/04/2017 and would like to know the distance from airport .where should i stay to visit town and this markert
Written 20 March 2017
Hey, it is 15.7 km from the airport to the market. Normally it takes around 40 minutes to get there but if you arrive during rush hour, which i hope you don't, then it will take 1.5 hours maximum. There are so many affordable hotels around Sule Pagoda area. Night market, Sule Pagoda, Bogyoke market and Colonial buildings are all within walking distance.
