Thank you to our travel companions who recommend this to us. it's a once in a life time experience in Vanuatu.
We did the Lololima Falls and Canyon rainforest adventure with EcoTours - access to private land, small personal groups, amazing sites.
You are granted access to almost untouched land high in the rainforest of Vanuatu where life is very simple. You walk on a flat path to the top of an amazing water fall and river.....You get to swim.....see lime stone caves......climb a water fall.....walk through a canyon......need I say more.
The trip is 5 hours for a little over $50 AUD, you get a drink at the end and fresh in season fruit from the local farm.
Only tip - if you don't need it leave it in the bus, you really only need swimmers, sunglasses that can get wet and a hat, one that can get wet and will stay on, a cap is best. (if you can leave the sunglasses behind do so, we lost 2 pairs on the trip - finding only one at the end with dive mask we had with us.
Physical fitness is not essential but it is quite a long walk through the canyon, over rocks and through water, could be taxing on some people.
Your tour guide has a torch for the lime stone cave, so you really don't need one.
And if you have one a water proof camera, there is so much to photograph.
