Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This was a super fun tour enhanced by Roy and George who were our guides. The bus they picked us up in was different from what I was expecting but made everyone on the tour laugh and chat with each other.

The Chrystal Cascades are gorgeous, refreshing to swim in and a highlight of my trip to Vanuatu.

I will be back here next year and will definately book more tours through this organisation ☺️

While on our trip, the national airlines went out of business essentially canceling our trips to Tanna Island Pentecost Island. Somehow, the Vanuatu Ecotours staff went above and beyond to make sure we didn't miss any event on our bucket list! Alan Thomas was our guide. Since he is from one of the islands we visited, we felt like we had a backstage pass to truly experience Vanuatu from a local point of view witnessing ceremonies rarely seen from outsiders. Alan made sure all our needs were met. He kept us updated on plans along the way and always made sure we had everything needed for an enjoyable day. He did a great job sharing his knowledge and love for the country. I would book another trip with this amazing guide!

Marc picked us up at 9am for a half day mountain bike tour and swim. It was truly amazing, the bike ride was a real adventure going through various Jungle landscapes. It was roughly 16km in total with half way a swim at the water falls.

The waterfall was better than expected since Marc took us to a waterfall where most tourist will never come. We were the only people there and swimming in these waterfalls was amazing. We climb the waterfall with Marc and swing on a rope.

Thanks Marc for this great experience in Vanuatu.

Mr Pascal organised a lovely tour for us as first timer kayakers. Added dip in Blue lagoon waters was another plus. Certainly a Recommended tour. It was our 30th wedding anniv. Pascal, Many Thanks. We were able to see fresh water springs upstream. Pascal explained different trees, vines, mangroves, ferns, tamanu trees etc. We kayaked right down to the ocean mouth. He provided twin seater kayaks to us as we were first timers and that made it easy to kayak upstream. On the whole, it is a recommended experience in the tranquil turquoise blue waters. I will certainly be sending my children to Vanuatu. Pascal, thank you.

Me and my mum did three tours with Eco tours: waterfall, bush walk (easy walk) and river kayaking. I was really happy with the experience, and even though my mum can't swim (and she's almost in her 60's), she was able to experience and enjoy all three tours!

For the River kayak I had the solo kayak and Pascal took my mum with him in the tandem kayak. He did all the work for her (he paddled and she sat there enjoying the views). My mum was like his queen! I was really pleased with it because it was my mum's first time to be in a kayak and it was made possible by Pascal (she wouldn't have done it without Pascal because of her condition). He took care of her and didn't forget what I wrote in my email about my mum's condition. Thank you Pascal!

For the Bush walking, Pascal chose the easy walk (flat, no inclines) which we enjoyed. Saw the local village and the people, walked along pristine beaches and dipped our feet in cool clear waters (we forgot our swimming costumes!), ate their local fruit straight off the tree, saw some spiders and crabs.... We learned so much from Henry about the life and the people in Vanuatu. Thanks Henry!

The waterfall was breathtaking. There is the shallow part of it where my mum spent a bit of time in (the waterfall became her personal masseuse.) We saw the limestone cave and bats!

I highly recommend his tours, Pascal and Henry became our friends during our time in Vanuatu and we felt so welcomed!

We did the cycling tour with Pascal and Henry. They were fantastic! Extremely knowledgeable and intent on you getting the best out of your tour. We cycled for about 3.5 hours through villages, along coastline, through rainforest and amongst cows in their paddocks. Most of the riding is relatively flat (though can be bumpy - but there are good shock absorbers on the mountain bikes and Pascal has gel seat covers for the taking!) and there are a couple of hills - but Pascal and Henry and there to encourage you up them! We saw lots, learned lots and greatly enjoyed the tour. The beer and home made lemon drink at the end are a very welcome treat!

Thank you to our travel companions who recommend this to us. it's a once in a life time experience in Vanuatu.
We did the Lololima Falls and Canyon rainforest adventure with EcoTours - access to private land, small personal groups, amazing sites.
You are granted access to almost untouched land high in the rainforest of Vanuatu where life is very simple. You walk on a flat path to the top of an amazing water fall and river.....You get to swim.....see lime stone caves......climb a water fall.....walk through a canyon......need I say more.
The trip is 5 hours for a little over $50 AUD, you get a drink at the end and fresh in season fruit from the local farm.
Only tip - if you don't need it leave it in the bus, you really only need swimmers, sunglasses that can get wet and a hat, one that can get wet and will stay on, a cap is best. (if you can leave the sunglasses behind do so, we lost 2 pairs on the trip - finding only one at the end with dive mask we had with us.
Physical fitness is not essential but it is quite a long walk through the canyon, over rocks and through water, could be taxing on some people.
Your tour guide has a torch for the lime stone cave, so you really don't need one.

And if you have one a water proof camera, there is so much to photograph.

With only 3 of us on the tour that day we had a super special afternoon with Ronnie on the river. Ronnie is such a great ambassador for Vanuatu (and being an honorary kiwi is a bonus).Super trip - easy kayaking and a gorgeous way to spend an afternoon.
