We have been to Port Vila many times before, sometimes for a week at a time, but this time we were only going to be there for one day on a cruise ship with my wife’s parents who have mobility problems so I thought it would be easier to rent a car for the day than get a bus driver from out the front or go on an organised tour.
So, I prearranged a car with World and it was a great experience. We were met at the quiet end of the port at exactly the prearranged time with an almost brand new Kia Sportage which was perfect for fitting walkers in the boot area and plenty of room for everyone and very comfortable over the potholes in the roads ( sometimes they cannot be avoided due to oncoming traffic).
We were able to go where we wanted and stay there as long as we liked and it was so convenient for carrying our shopping with us as well.
The company is owned by friendly Australians and the local staff are all very friendly (as ni-vans always are). All in all a great smooth experience. Smooth pick up and drop back to the terminal.
We will certainly recommend them to others and book again next time we are in Vila.

I rented with this company for the competitive pricing an positive reviews. I was met at the airport by a friendly employee, who was professional, swift and as a bonus she let me apply the discount voucher I just found there to an already made booking. The small car I rented was clean, comfortable and after 2 great days driving around the island they picked it up where I stayed. Email communication after regarding bond release was professional and speedy, would definitely recommend.

We hired a mini moke for 24hrs to do a lap around the island and was the best thing we did!! The car hire itself is relatively cheap and the deposit is 25000 vuv. The moke was in great condition and we found it easy to get around in. Ann at world car rentals couldn't do enough for us. Not only did she go out of her way to drop us back into town after our car hire had finished she pointed out the best currency exchange and shops in town. I would 100% recommend these guys for your holiday car hire. Thankyou :)

The car was delivered to us and picked up from our hotel. It was clean, everything worked, and rental was straightforward. We didn't need a credit card to book it, and it was much better value than the well-known international competitors. I'd have no hesitation in using World Car Rentals Vanuatu again.

Definitely use these guys only. They are fantastic to deal with, service and communication is superb. Rates are great excellent and they have the best fun car (moke). Such fun and worth it.
They offer a car drop off/pick up from where you are staying for a small charge and it’s so handy.
Lovely place and great staff - just do it !

The service from World cars was impeccable, we could not fault this company. We pre booked the car from Australia choosing a local company as opposed to the big name companies and could not of been happier. Our flight was delayed and the arrangements to meet at the airport initially were for 1pm we notified world cars immediately and they were amazing communicating via emails all day with us. We notified them 8 hours later as we were boarding and as promised at 9:30pm we were greeted by a wonderful young lady who had paperwork and car waiting for us. It was flawless service and so appreciated. Thank you Workd cars we had the best 10 day car hire with you.

Picked up the car at Port Vila Airport. Counter is just by the departure lounge or on your way out before exiting on arrival. Can’t really miss it. Jason, a staff member was very friendly , enthusiastic and warm and did a great job!.
The Jeep drove perfectly well for the 2 days we had it and was in good condition. Added a bit of colour to our photos and proved to be a very photogenic rental as well haha.
On drop off there is a box to drop the keys in at the same counter.
It helps if you let them know what time you’ll be arriving so the counter is manned as it isn’t 24x7.

WCR were incredibly easy to deal with - from our initial enquiries, to booking, to collecting our cars at the airport and then simple drop off.
We needed 3 cards and 5 child seats - and everything was exactly as we had ordered.
This is the second time we have used WCR in Vanuatu and highly recommend them for your car hire needs.

Unfortunately we made the mistake of accidentally booking vehicle's with 2 different companies one of which was World car rentals.
They dealt with the situation with a minimum of fuss and we're incredibly understanding.
We came to happy compromise and incurred no extra expenses.
The vehicles were great and with the pick up and drop off service at the airport the experience was effortless.
Not only were they great to deal with they were the most cost effective.
I wouldn't hesitate recommend them or use them again .

Fantastic service by World Car Rentals, easy check in, wonderful service that they drop the vehicle off and pick it up. Fantastic way to see Efate, just remember to take the sunscreen! Loved the Hot Pink Mini Moke automatic. My first try at a left hand drive and blitzed it!

So much fun in the Moke! Yes sunscreen definitely required otherwise you will match the paint colour by the end of the adventure! Thank you so much for your review, so glad we could help make your adventures easy and fun.

We will be holidaying in Denarau Island, staying at Wyndham Resort for 1 week in November. We will have a party of 10 adults. What would be out best option to hiring a vehicle or two vehicles which will take us anywhere and everywhere so we can make the most of our stay. Can you please quote or send information for us to look at.
