As a local telecommunication engineer, I've been traveling to other places in the Solomon for work purposes, I however have to say that my trip to Lake Tegano is one of the best! I stayed in Rennell for two nights and took the 3hr long trip to Lake Tegano. It cost us $3000 SBD for the return (about $500 AUD) and we stopped off once at the wharf midway.
