Part of a Land Tour
Jun. 2019
We visited this site as part of a land tour that included the falls & Belau National Museum. May be worth a stop and some photos.

Mysterious

Unlike Easter Island, Palau is not well known for its monoliths. But, they are pretty cool! I went on a day off from the water and I found them very impressive.

Makes one wonder about Easter Island
Jan. 2020
In my opinion, best to rent a car for $45 a day versus taking a tour bus. By taking a car one can then stop at the waterfall and several other historical sites and scenic views and save a bunch of money without a bunch of people on a timeline.

Okay, the rocks popping out of the ground similar to rocks of Stonehenge stuck in the ground, or the Wheel of Giants (5000 yrs. older then Stonehenge) on the ground in the Middle East are of historical and cultural significance to residents. As such it’s worth a small about of time to see them and they are located on the northeast end of the big island approximately 60 kilometers north from Koror central.

They may not look like much, but when connecting the many ancient historical stone monoliths around the world says a lot about culture and expression relative to humans.

It can be a moving experience if one has some historical background or some initial investigation prior to viewing them, which may give some insight and parallels of what we today consider important, and by extension that which is represented in skyscrapers touching the sky.

Stone monolith is quite far, it takes about a hour or more drive and a few minutes walk to reach the place. Along the way you can see the building of the National government.

Interesting Archaeological Site
Jul. 2019
This site is located up north and easy to drive to. The main office is located across the street to the entrance of the Stone Monoliths... They even have lunches and cold drinks mad by local families in the area.

Visit early on a sunny day

If you are in northern Palau this is a nice place to stop for 30 minutes or so to explore a bit of the history and catch some nice sea views.

amazingly jaw dropping
May 2018 • Family
it is quite an interesting sight because we can only guess that they were made by some form of supernatural godly forces. These rocky structures have been here at the very same place for centuries..

In the whole beautiful island of Palau., one and all must come to witness these godly looking faces, who knows maybe they can disappear one day.

Palau's Rapa Nui/Easter Island

Akin to the mysterious structures like Easter Island Moai and the large slabs at Stonehenge. Worth a trip although actual knowledge about the structures seem scarce.

Worth seeing.....
Oct. 2018 • Solo
Quite impressive constructions, worth seeing, but in 10 mins you are done. It would be possible to make more out of it. Steep entry fee for what it is.
