Well worth visiting this museum showcasing mainly Kanak wood carving , artefacts and culture.Sadly almost empty of visitors.Adequate descriptions in English. No lift so only ground floor can be accessed by disabled people.

So many beautiful things in here, such a shame we were the only ones there. People don't appreciate fine art and history.

The place may be small but its well worth visiting - great insight into the pacific cultures - make sure you have local money no cards accepted

I am only giving this an 'average' mark because although the displays and presentation were very good, if you could not read or speak French it was not possible to gain much information.

This museum displays artifacts of the Kanak and other Melanesian cultures. It is very educative and entrance fare is cheap.
