Such a beautiful beach with swaying palm trees and crystal clear waters. Plus lots of cafes and restaurants to stop at along the way. Worth a visit

This is the main attraction for Noumea as far as beaches go and as you can see by the beachfront it's beautiful... and Free! Enjoy.

If your looking for somewhere to dine before you indulge in a few cocktails, this is good area to be in. You will find live bands and music until the early hours.

During our 6nt stay this is the closest beach, water is clear and warm and the edges either end of it are great for snorkelling we saw sea turtles, clown fish, whip rays and lots of various other sea life.

We bused here from Anse Vata Beach which took 10 minutes nad we were into the waters of a beautiful tree lined beach. Shopping centre across the road with many stores and food outlets to choose from.

Noumea has suffered the scars of progress, but Citron Bay remains vet pleasant and well worth a visit if you are calling into Port at Noumea.

Baie des Citrons or Lemon Bay - is a lovely beach with white sand and clear water. Great for swimming and safe for kids. Lots of shade under the trees which edge the beach. Also great for beach walking and sunsets in the early evening.

Hi I'd like to know how long to spend in New Caledonia to see it properly. I am visiting a relative but won't be returning and want to 'do it well' My cousin says 3 weeks. I can stay up to 4. Any other advice? I want to see it all but don't tend to sit around relaxing much.

I drove right around the island in 5 days. Keep in mind that there are very few hotels outside of noumea
