The positives are that it has a nice path to walk on alongside the beach. There are nice cafes on the other side of the road. The beach itself is very rocky and not pleasant to walk on. In the afternoon when we went, it...More

Good long beach to take a walk. Quite windy in the late afternoon and evening. Lots of kite surfers to watch. As the beach is not very wide it is good to use the footpath which follows the bay. Lots of eating places as well...More

This is a very nice beach. A little bit windier than Lemon Bay but its got a lovely view of Duck Island and lots of bars/restaurants and shopping just across the road.

Plenty of clean white sand, gentle waves and right opposite cafes/restaurants, serviced by buses and plenty of car parking. There are public toilets dotted along the beach, wooden tables/chairs and a grassed verge upon which to sit. Highly recommended.

Easy walk from hotel to beautiful beach front to kick back & watch life go by. Good swimming & mainly sand with limited rocky outcrops close to shore so easy for kids

Nice to walk along the beach to see kite surfing, men playing boules, families relaxing and swimming.

We walked along this beach almost every day, to get to the taxi boat or aquarium. It was calm, uncrowned and had a view of Ille aux Canards and Ilot Maitre. I think it is the prettiest part of Noumea.

Yes all of the options as per answers given by other posters but also just request the beach front shops, they are kind enough to give you the keys.

3 weeks should be fine, but bring lots of money it's very expensive. I understand you may be able to rent campers on the island. that's what I would look into next time.
