Located in european looking Numea, offers all sort of local art and artefacts making the holiday to this destination very memorable. Definitely worth checking it out when in New Caledonia. You can pay with US and AU dollars, franks and Euros.

We visited this market place to find lots of good attractions....locally made musical instruments, fresh lay flower necklaces, jewellery, art works, clothing, hats, fresh produce - fruit and vegetable all locally grown and a fish market, coffee, bar and food.

We were here on a Monday and fairly unimpressed. A great deal of the items were obvious not locally made and we were told they only opened as there was a cruise ship in. Others have said that it is better on a real market...More

You don't need to take a tour, just walk there yourselves from the ship or take a short taxi ride.
